We have an exciting opportunity for an Environmental Field Geologist located in Denver, Colorado, to support our growing work related to site characterization and remediation across the Midwest and Mountain West. The geologist role will be reporting through our Nebraska Operations and will provide exceptional opportunity for personal and professional growth, particularly related to PFAS.  EA is a national industry leader in the area of PFAS investigation, mitigation, and remediation, resulting in tremendous growth and expanding project backlog. 

What you will do: The Environmental Field Geologist will be responsible for the following:

  • Lead field efforts for medium to large sized projects including managing individual tasks, schedules, and subcontractors for a wide range of environmental projects, with focus on site characterization and PFAS.
  • Delegate staff and mentoring junior geologists for field data collection efforts.
  • Lead Geologist field teams for complex field investigations and oversee drilling operations.
  • Develop reports and regulatory permits and approvals in compliance with various environmental laws.

What you will need:

  • Bachelor of Science in geology, hydrogeology, or related degree
  • 2 - 5 years of experience conducting field work for site characterization and remediation related to PFAS, munitions, chlorinated solvents, and other environmental contaminants.
  • Office experience supporting tasks related to planning documents, data management, and reporting.
  • Professional certifications, such as Fundamentals of Geology (FG) and Practice of Geology (PG), and strongly desired and pursuit encouraged and supported.
  • Adventurous nature with interest in traveling to different parts of the country.
  • Passion for using your talents to improve our environment.
