We are seeking an early career Environmental Health and Safety Scientist for our Hunt Valley, MD office.

 What you will do:

The early career Environmental Health and Safety Scientist will be responsible for assisting in the planning, fieldwork, and reporting phases for Environmental, Health, and Safety (EH&S) projects.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Perform regulatory compliance analysis.
  • Environmental health and safety audits and assessments.
  • Technical research tasks for multimedia compliance projects.
  • Develop occupational health and safety policy.
  • Prepare environmental, health, and safety compliance management documents.
  • Perform field studies and data gathering activities.
  • Support asbestos and other Occupational/Industrial Hygiene (IH) surveys.

What you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, occupational or public health, industrial hygiene, biochemistry, or related discipline.
  • 0-3 years of experience with occupational health, industrial hygiene, health and safety, and environmental compliance.
  • Basic knowledge of federal and state environmental health and safety regulatory programs and statutes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable with field data, reporting, and plan preparation.
  • Strong desire to grow in the occupational health, industrial hygiene, and health and safety field.
