We have an excellent opportunity for a fully remote Project Cost Analyst. 

What you will do:

 The Project Cost Analyst will create, update, and maintain Earned Value Reporting using a variety of spreadsheet-based tools, project schedules using Primavera P6, and Microsoft Project scheduling tools.

 Specific responsibilities include: 

  • Provide analysis of project cost.
  • Schedule daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
  • Train and assist Project Managers in the use of cost tracking and scheduling tools.
  • Update opportunity and contract files.
  • Assist Federal Program Managers with proper dissemination of correspondence internally and externally to federal clients.
  • Assist with monthly progress reporting requirements.
  • Create and/or review spreadsheets, letters, research, and organization of cost backup/detail.

What you will need: 

  • B.S. degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, Engineering, Geology, or related field.
  • 5 years’ experience in project controls.
  • Experience in developing, updating, and maintaining Earned Value Management Systems for project tracking.
  • Proven ability to work as a project controls specialist using P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project.
  • Advanced skills in building cost spreadsheets required.
  • Aptitude to understand, present technical information, and multitask across a number of programs.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail.
