Plant Operator I (21115)

EA is seeking a technician to conduct groundwater treatment plant (GWTP) and extraction system maintenance/repair duties in Rocket Center, WV.  Selected candidate will conduct operation and maintenance duties as well as maintain an inventory of critical repair parts, miscellaneous maintenance supplies, and chemicals; and provide outside services as necessary.  This includes, but is not limited to, the following items:
o GWTP components which may need to be repaired, cleaned, or replaced frequently.
o Mechanical/electrical services (e.g. electrician, plumber) to perform routine repairs beyond the capabilities of the on-site operator(s).
o I&C technician services to perform routine repairs beyond the capabilities of the selected candidate. 
o Quarterly calibration of all Extraction Well transducers. Replacement as necessary.
o Inspecting the GWTP monitoring well conditions.
o Conducting monthly and quarterly O&M sampling.
o Conducting quarterly landfill cap inspections.

The successful applicant will have a minimum of 3 years of experience operating a similar facility.
