We have an exciting opportunity for a Mid-Level Natural Resources Scientist/Project Manager in our Lincoln, NE office to support our growing work on environmental and natural resource projects. 

The candidate will have the following responsibilities:

• Management of small to medium sized projects such as watershed planning projects, flora/fauna surveys, habitat restoration, fisheries, regulatory permitting/compliance support, environmental assessments, wetland assessments, and environmental sampling.
• Delegating staff and leading preparation of technical reports and field data collection.
• Develop reports and regulatory permits and approvals in compliance with various environmental laws.
• Initiate and retain contact with existing and potential clients and regulatory agencies.
• Preparation of proposals, project scopes of work, and cost estimating.

Qualifications

• BS in natural resources or related environmental science program; Masters preferred.
• 5+ years of experience working in natural resources and project management.
• Candidate must be able to work as a team member across technical disciplines.
• Flexibility, adaptability, and ability to learn quickly are critical.
• The candidate should exhibit excellent communication and organization skills and the ability to prepare quality deliverables. 
• Excels at identifying staff efficiencies and resource utilization and delegation of tasks to meet deadlines.
