Construction Site Superintendent (24206)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Construction Site Superintendent reporting to our Lincoln, NE office.

What you will do: You will be overseeing all phases of construction at hazardous waste sites as well as the daily quality control of various environmental construction projects. Your responsibilities will require daily on-site presence and oversight of subcontractor activities and ensuring that all construction objectives are achieved while maintaining high standards of quality. Specific duties include:

  • Monitoring schedule, production, and site costs.
  • Verifying quantities for payment.
  • Ensuring all health and safety requirements are met.
  • Addressing construction issues with subcontractors.
  • Monitoring, documenting, and coordinating work progress.
  • Writes daily plans, daily reports, requests for information (RFIs).
  • Documenting progress through photographic/video recordings.
  • Communicating with clients as needed.
  • Coordinating environmental sampling efforts.
  • Interacting with landowners as necessary and maintaining on-site red-line drawings.
  • Performing inspection duties.

This position will require daily presence at job sites.

What you will need:

  • At least 3 years’ experience as a Site Superintendent in residential earth moving
  • At least 3 years’ experience in managing and supervising hazardous waste cleanup personnel
  • Working knowledge of hazardous materials transportation and disposal regulations
  • Experience tracking site costs routinely
  • Experience with scheduling software (Microsoft Project, Primavera, etc.) preferred but not required
  • B.S. Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is a plus but not required

Approximate salary range $70,000 - $90,000 commensurate with qualifications and experience.
