We have an exciting opportunity for a hybrid remote Network Administrator working in Hunt Valley, MD.

What You Will Do

The Network Administrator will manage the various IT related responsibilities as they relate to the corporate network.

Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Support, maintain and upgrade EA’s network to include routers, switches, firewalls, and other network equipment.
  • Monitor network performance and test for weaknesses.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues reported by end users.
  • Research and make recommendations on network improvements/upgrades.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation of network configurations.

What You Need

  • BS/BA in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
  • 3 years’ experience as a network administrator or related experience working with a network team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication, responsibility, dependability and teamwork. 
  • Experience in the following:
    • Installing and configuring Fortinet security and networking products (FortiGate firewalls, FortiSwitches, FortiAPs)
    • Managing network monitoring tools.
    • Monitoring performance and maintaining systems according to requirements.
    • Ensuring security through access controls to equipment.
  • Effective collaboration skills and the ability to work cohesively in a team environment.
  • Fortinet Certifications preferred.

Salary range is $70,000 - $100,000 commensurate with qualifications and experience.
