We have an exciting opportunity for an early career Data Management Scientist for our Hunt Valley, MD office.

What you will do:

The Data Management Scientist will be integrated into an existing team of scientists and engineers currently pursuing a wide range of multidisciplinary environmental projects and programs for a variety of commercial, county, state, and federal clients. 

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Supporting data collection, database design, and data management of analytical testing results for sediment and surface water projects, and risk assessments within the Water, Natural Resources and Ecotoxicology and other business units.
  • Evaluate and interpret chemical analytical data.

What you will need:

  • BA/BS degree in environmental science or chemistry.
  • 1-2 years of experience with MS Access, SQL Server, EQuiS, Scribe, and other technical environmental software programs.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (i.e. Microsoft Access and Microsoft Excel).
  • Strong organization, database design, data analysis, chemistry, and environmental data management skills.
