We have an exciting opportunity for a hybrid remote mid-level Environmental Scientist, Geologist, or Engineer to support our Syracuse, NY office.

What you will do:

The mid-level Environmental Scientist, Geologist, or Engineer will be responsible for assisting in the planning, fieldwork, and reporting phases for a wide range of multidisciplinary environmental projects that include:

  • Remedial investigations.
  • Site characterizations.
  • Remedial design (RD) support under both state and federal programs. 
  • Third party construction oversight.
  • Data collection.
  • Report preparation.

What you will need:

  • B.S. degree in environmental science, environmental biology, environmental engineering or related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of experience in the environmental industry.
  • Experience with state and federal environmental regulations.
  • Environmental field sampling procedures, and protocols experience.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Familiarity with environmental and civil engineering practices related to site characterization and remediation.
  • Experience with analytical data evaluation, summary, management, and performing field activities including well installation and multi-media sampling.
  • Strong technical aptitude, including the ability to quickly and efficiently learn applications, systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work under variable conditions and be able to lift heavy objects (approximately 50 lbs.).
  • Current OSHA HAZWOPER certification preferred.
  • Valid New York Driver’s License.
  • Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time.

Salary range $64f,000 - $74,000 commensurate with qualifications and experience.
