We have an excellent opportunity for a hybrid remote, early career Industrial Hygienist in our Hunt Valley, MD office.

What you will do:

The early career Industrial Hygienist will provide technical and field support for governmental, public-sector, and industrial clients.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Assess safety, indoor air quality, mold, asbestos, lead, and other hazardous materials.
  • Perform regulatory applicability analyses.
  • Technical research tasks.
  • Perform field studies and data gathering activities.
  • Support the development of safety programs.
  • Prepare project reports.

What you will need:

  • B.S. degree in occupational health, industrial hygiene, environmental science, engineering, or related field preferred, but relevant college coursework, professional experience, and IH/hazmat training acceptable in lieu of degree.
  • AHER A asbestos inspector abatement worker/supervisor, etc., and EPA Lead Inspector Technician training preferred, but will train the right candidate.
  • 1-5 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Experience supporting or leading hazardous materials (asbestos, lead, PCB, mercury, and IAQ/mold) inspections.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills.
  • Ability to interface with clients in a field or industrial environment.
  • Must be able to adhere to schedules, scopes of work, and budgets.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work as a team member across technical disciplines.
