We have an excellent opportunity for an Operations and Maintenance Technician in our Mashpee, MA office.
What you will do:
EA is responsible for the operations and maintenance (O&M) of nine Air Force Civil Engineer Center groundwater treatment plants located on Joint Base Cape Cod. We are currently seeking a technician to support the O&M team in conducting the following tasks: performing inspections and repairs of process controls and equipment as well as general maintenance of the groundwater extraction wells, facilities, and grounds. Perform direct push drilling and sampling.

EA will provide on-the-job training in the following areas:
- Industrial and municipal wastewater treatment operations.
- Electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
- Mechanical repairs and inspections of pumps, motors, and valves.
- Process equipment and control systems.
- Water and soil sampling.
- Heavy equipment operation.
- Direct push drilling.
What you will need:
- Driver’s license.
- Associate’s degree in a related field preferred.
- 2-5 years of related experience preferred.
- Must be able to pass a drug screening and background checks.
- A desire to learn, work and grow with an exceptional team of environmental professionals.
Preferred qualifications:
- Maintenance/repair skills.
- Strong written and communication skills.
- Working knowledge of the building and facilities maintenance, treatment systems, electrical and mechanical inspections, troubleshooting and repairs.
Additional Training provided
- OSHA 40-hr HAZWOPER
- First Aid/CPR
- Coursework required to pursue a MA wastewater operator’s license
- Coursework required to pursue a MA drillers license.
Anticipated salary range is $32.00 to $38.00 per hour.
