EA Engineering, Science and Technology Inc., PBC has been providing munitions response services to a variety of Department of Defense and commercial clients since 2007.  We currently have an opportunity available for a fully remote Munitions Response Project Manager to support both existing programs/projects and new business development initiatives within our growing Munitions Response practice line.

What you will do:  As Munitions Response Project Manager you will have overall responsibility for the planning, design, and management of Military Munitions Response Program (MMRP) and Sustainable Range Program related proposals and projects. Specific Project Manager responsibilities include:

  • Lead and support nationwide proposal efforts.
  • Manage munitions response project activities to ensure that project scope and objectives are accomplished within the proposed schedule and budget while meeting all applicable quality and safety standards.
  • Work with a multi-disciplinary team of geologists, engineers, chemists, geophysicists, and risk assessors.
  • Manage the preparation of a variety of munitions response documents (UFP-QAPP, ESS/ESP/CSS, RI/FS/PP/DD, RACR, etc.).
  • Oversee field work, to include staffing, oversight, and daily reporting of field operations, tracking project costs/schedule, and communication with EA management and clients.
  • Coordinate project activities with government, regulatory, and other agencies.
  • Comprehensive tracking of project progress, schedule, and costs.

What you will need:

  • B.S degree or higher in geology, engineering, environmental sciences, or related discipline. 
  • Professional registration and/or Project Management Professional certification desired.
  • 10 or more years of overall related experience including at least 5 years recent experience as an MMRP project manager.
  • Experience providing cost effective solutions for munitions response projects including assessment, investigation, remediation, operational range sustainment and other MEC related projects.
  • Experience managing projects with digital geophysical mapping (DGM), Advanced Geophysical Classification (AGC) and munitions constituent sampling.
  • Experience managing projects with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), U.S. Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC), and/or the Army Environmental Command (AEC).
  • High level of proficiency using all Microsoft applications including Teams.
  • Able to travel up to 20% for pre-proposal and project related site visits. Valid U.S. Driver’s License.

Anticipated salary range $120,000 - $165,000 commensurate with qualifications and experience.
