Early Career Environmental Scientist (24108)

We have an excellent opportunity for an early career Environmental Scientist in our Lincoln, Nebraska office. 

What you will do:

The early career Environmental Scientist will assist in the planning, fieldwork, and reporting phases for a wide range of multidisciplinary environmental projects for a variety of government and commercial clients.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Site characterization and remediation (SCR).
  • Groundwater sampling.
  • CERCLA and RCRA-type site assessments and remedial activities.
  • Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments.
  • Prepare, implement, analyze, and report on environmental restoration and remedial actions with associated fieldwork.

What you will need:

  • B.S. degree in Environmental Science or related field.
  • 0 - 3 years of related experience.
  • Strong technical writing skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team.
  • Ability to travel for fieldwork.
  • Ability to complete 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER (upon employment).
  • Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
