Project Engineer (24100)

Come join a collaborative engineering consulting group that delivers civil and environmental infrastructure solutions for our public works and private clients through all phases of a project lifecycle: planning, engineering evaluation and design, permitting, construction-phase services, and program and operations support.

What You Will Do

The Project Engineer will consult with EA team members and clients to:

  • Develop plans for meeting program and project goals.
  • Manage and perform engineering design tasks.
  • Perform engineering calculations and evaluations.
  • Prepare reports.
  • Perform alternatives analyses.
  • Develop engineering plans and specifications.
  • Complete permit applications, coordinate with regulators, and obtain permits; and
  • Provide guidance for projects under construction.

This position will be tailored to a specific candidate’s experience and personal interest and is best suited for an individual that is excited to develop experience across a range of managerial and technical skills.

What You Need

  • B.S. or M.S. degree in civil, environmental, mechanical, or electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Engineer-in-Training certification or ability to obtain it.
  • 2-10 years of engineering design experience, with a site/civil or fuel system focus.
  • Practical experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoCAD, or MicroStation is preferred.

What We Provide

This position provides an opportunity to work on projects such as:

  • Fuel system design (tanks, pumps, piping, electrical/mechanical, etc.)
  • Site development and civil engineering (site layout, grading, drainage, erosion and sediment control, permitting, etc.)
  • A broad variety of other environmental and civil subject areas.

Anticipated salary range $75,000 - $120,000 commensurate with qualifications and experience.
