We have an exciting full-time opportunity for an Environmental Manager to support our growing Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) consulting practice in Seattle, WA. 

What you will do: 

The Environmental Manager will support technical and task management for a broad range of EHS clients/projects including ports, railroads, USACE, Navy and other public and private clients covering environmental compliance program areas for stormwater, SPCC, waste, wastewater, EPCRA/Tier II, and air quality as well as sustainability and climate resiliency evaluation/planning efforts.

 Specific responsibilities include:

  • Lead environmental projects including serving as client point-of-contact, managing EA staff, and ensuring deliverable quality.
  • Conduct business development tasks including building/maintaining relationships with new/existing clients and leading proposal efforts.
  • Site inspections and sampling.
  • Working with facility personnel to complete corrective actions.
  • Developing permit applications and plans (SPCC, SWPPP, etc.).
  • Regulatory compliance audits, assessments, and reporting.
  • Evaluating and implementing client sustainability goals.
  • Supporting climate resiliency planning.
  • Training and supporting environmental compliance program development including Standard Operating Procedures and guidance documents.

 What you will need:

  • B.S. degree in environmental science or related discipline; master’s degree preferred.
  • 10-15 years of professional experience. 
  • Experience with Federal and Washington environmental regulatory requirements.
  • Experience conducting environmental compliance inspections, sampling and/or audits.
  • Experience with compliance program development; including SOPs, training, guidance, etc.
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) skills are required.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and ability to learn quickly are critical.
  • Willingness to travel (up to 20%) with a high percentage of day trips to local field sites and occasionally to Western Washington.

Anticipated salary range is $100,000 to $130,000 per year.
