Early Career Environmental Engineer (24134)

We have an excellent opportunity for an early career Environmental Engineer in our Seattle, WA office to support NAVFAC NW, USACE/AF, EPA, USFS, and a variety of EHSS clients including Port of Seattle, and  City of Spokane. 

What you will do: You will be supporting engineering tasks for a wide range of multidisciplinary environmental projects. Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Researching and evaluating remedial alternatives.
  • Performing calculations.
  • Developing conceptual designs and specifications.
  • Drafting scopes of work for subcontractors

What you will need:

  • B.S. degree in a related engineering field required.
  • 0 - 3 years of related experience.
  • Familiarity with Sate and Federal environmental regulations is desirable (e.g. Washington’s Model Toxics Control Act (MTCA) and RI/FS and RD/RA actions under CERCLA.
  • Knowledge of remedial system operation and maintenance preferred.
  • Basic computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite) required.
  • GIS/CADD experience a plus.
  • Strong technical writing skills and communications skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Must be able to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team.
  • Ability to travel within the Western U.S. including Alaska for project task lasting more than a week.
  • Current OSHA HAZWOPER and First-Aid/CPR certifications preferred.
  • Must be comfortable working in office, field, and industrial environment.

 Anticipated salary of $65,000 to $75,000 per year.
