We have an excellent opportunity for a mid-level Environmental Scientist in our Hunt Valley, MD office.

What you will do: The mid-level Environmental Scientist will work across our Water and Natural Resources group, including NEPA compliance, climate and coastal projects, stream and wetland studies and other opportunities.  Specific responsibilities include:

  • Research and report writing.
  • Field assessments.
  • On-water and boat work.
  • Support in grant writing and pursuit of other project opportunities.

What you will need:

  • B.S. or M.S. degree in biology or ecology preferred.
  • 3-5 years of related experience.
  • Fluency in ArcGIS and ArcMap.
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills required.
  • Strong field skills are desired.
  • Evidence of published work or writings for school publications preferred.  A writing sample may be required.
  • Previous experience working on multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • To be comfortable working in both office and field structure.
