We have an exciting opportunity for Design Engineer in our Lincoln, NE office to grow and learn as support to a wide range of environmental projects. 

What you will do: You will manage engineering design tasks that focus on remediation and site restoration working closely with multidisciplinary team members.  You will solve challenging engineering problems related to subsurface contamination, water resources, contaminated sediment, habitat restoration, stormwater, watershed planning, environmental compliance, and stream/lake restoration. Specific task assignments will include field data collection, data analysis, modeling, design drawings, specifications, report preparation, cost estimating, and construction oversight.

What you will need:

  • B.S. Environmental, Civil, Biological Systems Engineering, or related field.
  • 4+ years of related experience.
  • Experience with design plans and specifications desired.
  • Experience with construction inspection desired.
  • EIT and PE preferred.
  • Critical thinking and technical writing skills, including the ability to convey information at an appropriate level of communication with varying level of project team members.
  • Experience using AutoCAD, GIS, and modeling software desired.
  • Must be flexible, adaptable, and eager to solve diverse environmental problems.
