Operations and Maintenance Technician (22232)

EA is responsible for operations and maintenance (O&M) of nine Air Force Civil Engineer Center groundwater treatment plants and their process equipment and control systems; monitoring and sampling of water (plant and groundwater) to ensure compliance with the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection and local regulatory standards.  We are currently seeking an Operations and Maintenance Technician to support the O&M team in conducting the following tasks: performing inspections, repairs, calibration, and programming to process controls and equipment as well as general maintenance of the facilities and ground..

Working Knowledge of the following:

  • Building, facilities, and grounds maintenance.
  • Piping and water systems.
  • Industrial and municipal wastewater treatment operations
  • Electrical troubleshooting and repairs
  • Mechanical repairs and inspections of pumps, motors, and valves
  • Process equipment and control systems

Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • 2-5 years of related experience.
  • Maintenance/repairs of equipment experience strongly desired
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • OSHA HAZWOPER training preferred.
