We have an exciting Project Management position located in our Seattle, Washington office for an experienced Environmental Engineer, Geologist, or Environmental Scientist.

What you will do:   Your project management responsibilities will include assisting in planning and leading on-site field investigations, data acquisition, and data analysis activities for a wide range of multidisciplinary environmental projects involving contaminated soil, sediment, and groundwater investigations.  This position will require a combination of working remotely and from the office.

What you will need:

• BS degree in Engineering, Geology, or Environmental Science to include a familiarity with onsite environmental sampling, contaminated site investigation, environmental regulations, solid and hazardous waste sites, environmental chemistry, and hydrogeology.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience managing and leading on-site activities that ideally include soil, sediment, surface water, and groundwater sampling, observation of drilling and well installation activities, and environmental data management and reporting.
• Familiarity with State and Federal environmental regulations is desirable to include Washingtons Model Toxics Control Act (MTCA) and RI/FS and RD/RA actions under CERCLA.
• Familiarity with remedial system operation and maintenance is desired but not required
• Basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft office suite) required, GIS experience a plus.
• Strong written and oral communication skills to include Work Plan development and Report Preparation
• Willingness to travel withing the Pacific NW to include Alaska for project tasks lasting up to a week.
• Current OSHA HAZWOPER and First Aid/CPR certifications preferred.
• Candidate must be comfortable working in both an office, field, and industrial environment.
• Candidate must be able to work as a team member across technical disciplines, and must be able to adhere to schedules, scopes, and budgets, as well as EA’s project management and quality standards.
