We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Coastal Engineer with at least 15 years of experience to manage a wide range of projects including assessment of vulnerability and risk (specifically related to sea level rise) in coastal environments, adaptation design development including the improvement of coastal resilience through structural and nature-based feature design, living shorelines, dredging and beneficial use of sediment, ecosystem restoration projects, and sediment transport modeling.
Responsibilities include management of design projects including development of specifications, cost estimating, coastal and hydraulic modeling, and coordinating with restoration ecologists. Clientele interaction will be wide ranging including Department of Defense entities, National Park Service, US Fish and Wildlife, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, ports, non-profits, and commercial entities.
