We have an exciting opportunity for a Geologist III in our Sacramento, CA office.

The successful candidate will assist in the planning, fieldwork and reporting phases for a wide range of multidisciplinary environmental projects, with a focus on site characterization and remediation (SCR), CERCLA and RCRA-type site assessments and remedial activities, documentation preparation, data evaluation and report development for primarily Superfund sites in California. Opportunities to manage projects available for the right candidate. Some travel will be required.

Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Geology, or related field. M.S. preferred
• 4-7 years of demonstrated experience.
• California PG, or ability to obtain.
• Multimedia field sampling experience including soil/sediment/surface water/groundwater/air.
• Experience leading soil and groundwater investigations (e.g. drilling oversight, monitor well installations) with experience managing subcontractors.
• Experience working with mine sites preferred.
