Intern - Syracuse (23061)

We are currently seeking a self-motivated and independent Technical Intern for our Syracuse, NY office. Internships will be a 40-hour / week temporary position based out of our Syracuse office for interested students to gain experience with environmental consulting and working with EA team members across technical disciplines.  Candidate will be primarily responsible for participating in soil, groundwater, surface water, and sediment investigation and remediation projects in the Northeast, and supporting other project work performed out of the Syracuse office. The candidate will assist senior staff with development of project documents (work plans, reports, etc.); planning and coordinating complex field efforts; evaluating data; and performing field work.

Requirements

  • Student working towards a degree in environmental science, geology, geosciences, hydrology, biology, engineering, or related disciplines
  • Basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft office suite) required.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel for project tasks
  • GIS and/or CAD experience, and field/sampling experience a plus.
