Project Geologist - Delaware (23008)

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Geologist to support projects in our Delaware office.

What you will do: You will perform field work planning and preparation, drilling and monitoring well installation, well development, soil/bedrock logging, site investigation and various types of sampling of all media, construction oversight, and management of subcontractors. Additional activities will be technical writing in the preparation of planning documents and reports including soil boring logs, geological cross-sections, and interpretation of hydrogeologic settings.

What you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in geology.
  • 2 plus years of experience in this field.
  • CERCLA RI/FS Field and Reporting experience.
  • EPA experience strongly preferred.
  • A diverse background in environmental consulting.
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing. 
  • Ability to work independently, self-motivated, and as a member of a project team.
  • Knowledge and use of Microsoft Office Suite; geology software a plus.
