Entry-level Geologist/Engineer/Scientist - Colorado (23001)

We have an exciting opportunity for entry-level Geologist, Engineer, or Environmental Scientist in our Denver office to grow and learn in support to a wide range of multidisciplinary projects in Colorado and elsewhere. Projects will include soil, sediment, soil gas, and groundwater remedial investigations and feasibility studies (RI/FS), site characterizations, remedial design (RD), remedial action (RA) and regulatory compliance support under State and Federal Programs and for commercial clients.

What you will do: You will be responsible for assisting in planning activities, executing fieldwork, performing third-party oversight, analyzing and tabulating data, and preparing reports for a wide range of multidisciplinary environmental projects including preliminary assessments, site/remedial investigations, and remedial designs. Travel in support of interesting projects will be required up to approximately 60%.

What you will need:

BA/BS degree in Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or related science.

0-3 years of experience

EIT preferred for Engineers and GIT preferred for Geologist.

Critical thinking and technical writing skills, including the ability to convey information at an appropriate level of communication with varying levels of project staff.

Experience using Microsoft office applications.

Must be flexible, adaptable, and able to learn quickly.

Willing to conduct field work, including water and soil sampling, drilling oversight, and site inspections.

Willing to travel.

Mechanical skills a plus.

Current OSHA HAZWOPER and First Aid/CPR certifications preferred.

Salary Range $50,000 to $70,000
