We have a fantastic opportunity for a mid-level Geochemist to support our growing work related to abandoned mine lands, natural resources, water resources, and environmental restoration with a focus on state, municipal and local clients. 

What you will do:  

  • Manage field activities including individual tasks, schedules, and budgets from the proposal stage through project completion for a wide range of environmental projects.
  • Delegate to staff and lead preparation of technical reports and field data collection.
  • Lead and manage a team for complex field investigations.
  • Develop reports and regulatory permits and approvals in compliance with various environmental laws.
  • Perform technical analysis of site data.  Guide and/or prepare geologic work products including plume maps, groundwater gradient maps, cross-sections, structure contour and sub-crop maps.  Initiate and retain contact with existing and potential clients and regulatory agencies.
  • Prepare proposals, project scopes of work, and cost estimating.

What you will need:

  • M.S. or PhD in geochemistry or related field.
  • Professional registration (P.G., P.E.) is preferred.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus.
  • 7 - 10 field experience in contaminant fate and transport, acid rock drainage mitigation, water treatment or related activities.
  • Must have knowledge of general hydrogeochemistry, mine waste geochemistry, contaminant fate and transport
  • Experience with Geochemists Work Bench required
  • Office experience leading tasks related to planning documents, data management, and reporting.
