We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Geologist based out of our Syracuse, NY office. 

 What you will do: You will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the best professionals in the environmental consulting industry as you assist in managing projects and field work. This position will allow you to grow and develop your project management skills.   More specifically, you will:

• Prepare proposals, planning documents along with organizing, and running field efforts.
• Manage and train entry level staff on sample procedures and preparing final reports.
• This position will focus on managing projects from the office.  Travel to job sites to train staff and get new sites started will be an occasional requirement.

 What you will need: 

• BS (MS preferred) in Geology, Engineering, or related discipline.
• At least five years of experience with related field activities (well installation, groundwater sampling, MIP/HPT).
• Experience preparing RI reports and assisting in the preparation of feasibility studies.
• Experience with project task management.
• Proficiency with Excel, modeling software, contracting, subcontractor management.
• Ability to procure and manage subcontractors.
• P.G. Licenses a plus.
