CADD Operator - Warwick (22100)

EAs Warwick Office is searching for a CADD Operator who specializes in AutoCAD Civil3D to work closely with our engineering team to produce high-quality engineering drawings for a variety of civil/environmental projects. These projects will include civil/site design, grading, open and closed drainage systems, stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, earthwork, and utility layout. This is a unique opportunity to become a trusted CADD resource for EAs northeast operations. The ideal candidate will become a company leader for CADD operation and work with CADD Operators in other offices to improve CADD Standards and drawing consistency.

What you will do:

  • Work closely with the engineering team to produce high-quality engineering drawings that communicate information clearly and concisely to contractors and permitting agencies.
  • Review, interpret, and process survey drawings from subcontractors which serve as the basis of our engineering drawings.
  • Find potential design issues and discrepancies and provide feedback to the engineering team.
  • Serve as a resource for project engineers on CADD methods and processes.
  • Learn and adhere to EAs CADD Standards (training will be provided).

What you will need:

  • An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in related area or certification in CADD or Engineering Technician/Technology. Experience can be substituted for education. Educational or professional experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with computer-aided design and drafting for civil/environmental engineering projects desired.
  • Must have an understanding of CAD conventions and ability to comply with standards.
  • Working knowledge of grading objects, surfaces, pipe networks, and other civil entities preferred.
  • Must be able to work with other and communicate well to accomplish project goals.
  • Experience with ArcGIS is added benefit but not necessary.
