We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to assist with our continued growth in the Pacific region. This position will support a diverse mix of private, municipal, and federal agency clients. This position can be based out of our Honolulu, Hawaii or Barrigada, Guam office locations. Candidate will report to the Pacific region Operations Manager located in Hawaii.

What you will do:

  • Review data collected and compile information provided by support staff.
  • Develop planning documents and technical reports.
  • Provide mentoring to junior staff and supervise data collection teams.
  • Prepare technical and cost proposals.
  • Assist in marketing, business development activities, and strategic planning.
  • Support existing project team of approximately 30 professionals.
  • Have the flexibility to support projects in multiple time zones including Guam, Hawaii, and the mainland

What you will need:

  • A bachelor’s degree in a natural resources (biology, ecology, botany, wildlife management, etc.).
  •  5+ years of project management experience and 10+ years of experience executing natural resource, planning, and permitting projects.
  • Committed to working with the project team and providing excellent client service.
  • Strong communication, organizational and project management skills.
  • Knowledge of local, state, territory and federal laws and regulations.
  • Be able to work well with EA staff, clients, contractors, consultants, and regulatory agencies.
  • Be a motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in natural resources or related subject.
  • 5+ years of natural resource experience working in Guam, Hawaii, or the Pacific region.
  • Experience with the Endangered Species Act, Clean Water Act, NEPA, Historic Preservation Act, and Department of Defense Clients.
  • 1-3 years of supervisory experience.
  • Experience with GPS and GIS.
  • Knowledge of local flora and fauna on Guam or Hawaii.
