Procurement Specialist (22020)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Specialist in our Hunt Valley, MD office.

Selected candidate will provide support in the execution of projects in the following areas:

  • Locate qualified vendors and subcontractors via input from project staff
  • Query internal databases, research of industry sites, and use of internet search engines
  • Contact vendors and subcontractors to obtain bids
  • Gather necessary information for the selection process and send follow up requests for additional information or clarification when required
  • Maintain routine and timely communications with project managers, vendors and subcontractors
  • Maintain accurate and complete files for review by internal and external audit functions
  • Utilize systems efficiently in a paperless environment
  • Perform other general project support duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • College degree and 1-3 years of experience preferred, but not required. If the skills are there candidate will be trained
  • Computer and analytical skills necessary to search large documents, to locate, evaluate and document all critical terms needed by the Company for execution and reporting purposes
  • Ability to maintain and organize sustainable electronic filing and archiving of project data
  • High level of organizational skills and attention to detail 
  • Ability to work with all levels of staff from clerical to General Counsel
  • The work for this position is time sensitive and the candidate must be able to multitask and meet critical deadlines daily
