EA has an opportunity for a fully remote Accounting Manager  based out of our Hunt Valley, MD office. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Leading the accounting team during the closing process to ensure all major projects, month-end and year-end close deadlines are met.
  • Working closely with accounting management to create relevant and timely reports on financial data analytics including budget to actual analysis, monthly financials, and executive level reporting.
  • Leading the preparation of the Incurred Cost Submission as well as the Provisional Billing Rate Submissions.
  • Leading Program Managers and/or Joint Venture Partners in the development of and implementation of financial contract documents and reporting deadlines.
  • Overseeing the year end budgeting process.
  • Other projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
  • CPA/CPA candidate a plus.
  • 5 – 7  years of relevant professional experience.
  • Must have advanced excel skills - (pivot tables, vlookups, macros, data analysis, etc.)
  • Understanding of general ledgers is a must.
  • Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) strongly desired.
  • Must be organized, deadline driven, self-starter.
  • Must be able to effectively communication with all levels of the organization.
