EA has an opportunity for a GIS Specialist in the Lincoln/Omaha NE area to support our growing work related to natural resources, water resources, and environmental restoration with a focus on state, municipal and local clients. 

Responsibilities

  • Utilize geospatial data and GIS software to support a wide range of environmental projects and solutions.
  • Develop requirements and configure documentation for ArcGIS online web applications.
  • Manage geodatabases and geospatial data, conduct geospatial analysis, mapping, and create and refine deliverables using ArcGIS software.
  • Integrate ArcGIS with other third-party software using the Java Script API.
  • Utilize standardized operating procedures for data management and GIS application.
  • Execute geospatial analysis using Python, ArcGIS Model Builder, VB script or other GIS compatible programming language.

Education and Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in environmental science, or geography with a focus in Geographic Information Systems.
  • 4-6 years related experience
  • Proficiency in ArcGIS software including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, ArcMap, ArcGIS Server, and Enterprise Geodatabase.
  • Experience with geospatial analysis using Python, ArcGIS Model Builder, Surfer, VB script or other GIS compatible programming language.
