EA has an opportunity for a mid level Geologist in the Lincoln/Omaha NE area to support our growing work related to natural resources, water resources, and environmental restoration with a focus on state, municipal and local clients. 

Responsibilities: 

• Manage small to medium sized projects including managing individual tasks, schedules, and budgets from the proposal stage through project completion for a wide range of environmental projects, with focus on site characterization and PFAS.
• Delegate to staff and lead preparation of technical reports and field data collection.
• Lead and manage a team for complex field investigations.
• Develop reports and regulatory permits and approvals in compliance with various environmental laws.
• Initiate and retain contact with existing and potential clients and regulatory agencies.
• Prepare proposals, project scopes of work, and cost estimating.

Education and Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in geology, environmental science or engineering.
• Professional certification (P.G., P.E., PMP, etc.) is preferred.
• 7 - 10 field experience managing teams conducting site characterization and remediation
• Office experience leading tasks related to planning documents, data management, and reporting.
