EA has an opportunity for a Project Manager/Program Manager in the Lincoln/Omaha NE area to support our growing work related to natural resources, water resources, and environmental restoration with a focus on state, municipal and local clients. 


  • Serve as program manager for Nebraska State and Local services, leading client development, capture planning, coordination, proposal preparations, and brand development.
  • Prepare capture plans for target clients, track progress against capture plan activities.
  • Proactively investigate and pursue funding sources and grant opportunities for clients.
  • Serve as project manager on key projects and provide technical expertise to other project managers in areas of expertise.
  • Support company-wide business development pursuits in areas of technical expertise.
  • Serve in a leadership role with key State and Local professional organizations, attend key conferences, and present at key events.
  • Elevate and enhance EA’s role as a leader in science and engineering, through interaction with State and Local clients and peers.

Education and Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in environmental science or engineering.
  • Master’s degree in engineering/science preferred.
  • Professional certification (P.G., P.E., PMP, etc.) is preferred.
  • 12+ years of client management, client development, project management, and technical experience in water and natural resources.
  • Broad experience managing projects and complex tasks for natural resources, environmental permitting, and water resources.
  • Record of success building client relationships and leading complex proposal efforts.
