We have an excellent opportunity for a mid-level Environmental Scientist in our Honolulu, HI office. Selected candidate will serve as a key technical resource and assist the client in leading stormwater management research programs. These programs include debris control assessments, total maximum daily load studies, trash studies and other work as required

Requirements:

• B.S. Environmental Sciences, Engineering or related field.
• Two to five years of experience working with NPDES municipal stormwater permits and managing research-oriented stormwater management programs including total maximum daily load (TMDL) studies.
• Must have technical aptitude, including the ability to quickly and efficiently learn applications, systems, policies and procedures.
• Must be able to work in the field under hot, humid and stormy conditions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, Adobe Acrobat and ArcGIS.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work both independently and on team assignments.
• Must be able to lift heavy objects (approximately 50 lbs.).
• Must have a valid Hawaii Driver’s License.
