We have an opportunity for a Senior Geologist/Scientist/Engineer in our Honolulu, HI office to support our existing and growing commercial, State and Federal clients. The position is located on the Island of Oahu.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing projects and task orders for environmental projects with a focus on investigation and medication projects, preparation of technical proposals and cost estimates, Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments; permit application development; data management and interpretation; and technical report development. Will ensure the projects activities are executed on schedule, on budget and with exceptional quality. Will develop strong client relationships lead business development and proposal efforts. Candidate will provide leadership and mentoring for project team members to develop creative and innovative solutions to challenging problems.

Education and Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in geology, environmental science, engineering, or related discipline.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Professional certification (P.G., P.E.) is preferred.
  • 10-15 years of experience with environmental consulting, including field sample procedures, monitor well installation, analytical data interpretation and reporting, with a least 5 years in Hawaii.
  • Knowledge of Hawaii Department of Health (HDOH) Technical Guidance Manual, Environmental Action Levels and other HDOH guidance.
  • Thorough understand of federal regulations (CERCLA and RCRA)
  • Record of success building client relationships and leading complex proposal efforts.
