EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc., PBC has an opportunity for a Staff Engineer in our Lincoln, NE location. The successful candidate will work with a team to complete a wide variety of environmental engineering projects such as habitat restoration, stream stability and erosion protection, watershed planning and dam rehabilitation, floodplain analysis, large scale environmental remediation, etc. The successful candidate will perform hydrology and hydraulic modeling, conduct engineering calculations and analysis, develop design plans, prepare cost estimates, and perform field work.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in civil, chemical, environmental, biological systems engineering from an ABET accredited engineering program. Master of Science is beneficial, but not required.
  • 0-4 years of experience.

Other Qualifications

  • Experience with strategies, methods, and software packages for conducting hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) modeling within watersheds. 
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and ability to learn quickly are vital.
  • Commitment to personal and professional growth under the mentoring of senior engineering staff.
  • Extraordinarily competent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to convey information at an appropriate level of communication with varying levels of project staff.
