Role Description:

EA has an opportunity for a Senior Environmental Project Manager in Lincoln/Omaha NE to support our growing work related to remedial investigation and remediation projects for Federal, state, and commercial clients. 

Candidate will be responsible for managing projects and task orders including remedial investigations, remedial deigns, and remedial actions. Will collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams of professionals to achieve project objectives. Will provide leadership and mentoring for project team members to develop creative and innovative solutions to challenging problems. Will ensure the projects activities are executed on schedule, on budget and with exceptional quality. Will develop strong client relationships lead business development and proposal efforts.

Position location is flexible with potential options for working from home, from Omaha, or from EA’s full-service office in Lincoln.

Education and Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in engineering (civil, chemical, environmental, biological systems) or science (geology, chemistry, hydrogeology, biology, or related environmental field) from an ABET accredited program
  • Masters degree in engineering/science preferred.
  • Professional certification (P.G., P.E., PMP, etc.) is preferred.
  • 12+ years of experience with site characterization and remediation, with experience related to PFAS desired.
  • Direct experience managing projects and complex tasks for federal clients (such as USACE, EPA, and Air Force).  Experience supporting USACE Omaha District is preferred.
  • Thorough understand of federal environmental restoration programs, including ERP and MMRP, and regulatory requirements.
  • Record of success building client relationships and leading complex proposal efforts.
