We have an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated junior Planner in our Seattle, WA office.

The selected candidate will assist with studies associated with planning, land use and environmental regulations (SEPA/NEPA, GMA and local land use regulations), perform a variety of tasks including: research, analysis, drafting documents sections and produce documents in support of SEPA/NEPA environmental review.

Requirements:

• BA/BS degree in Planning or related discipline, Master’s degree a plus.
• 1-2 years of private or public planning/environmental review experience, relevant internship experiences will be considered.
• Basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft office suite) required, Publisher and GIS experience a plus and/or other graphics software.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Comfortable working both independently and in a team environment.
• AICP desirable, not required.
