We are currently seeking a mid-level Scientist for our Hunt Valley, MD office to support industrial hygiene/hazardous material projects.

Responsibilities include technical support and field team leadership for governmental, public-sector and industrial clients. Indoor air quality, mold, asbestos, lead, and other hazardous materials and industrial hygiene assessments; regulatory applicability analyses; technical research tasks; field studies and data gathering activities; and project reports.

Requirements:

  • B.S. degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, occupational health, industrial hygiene or related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of relevant professional experience. 
  • AHERA asbestos inspector accreditation, EPA/MD lead inspector, and NIOSH 582 certification preferred.
  • Candidate must be comfortable working in both an office and field or industrial environment. 
  • Solid communication (written and verbal) skills are required, including the ability to maintain an appropriate level of communication with supervisor and project/program managers.
  • Ability to work as a team member across technical disciplines, and must be able to adhere to schedules, scopes, and budgets, as well as EA’s project quality standards.
