EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc., PBC is searching for a National Service Line Program Manager – Natural Resources. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced senior level natural resources professional to leverage and grow relationships with private, state & local, NGO and federal clients nationally.  The position will reside in EA’s Corporate Client Programs Group and work collaboratively with Operations leadership.

The successful candidate will lead client development, project execution and relationship management in the natural resources marketplace.  Responsibilities include identifying, marketing, and capturing contracts and large stand-alone projects with a variety of clients, preparing proposals, negotiating contracts, developing grants, training and mentoring staff on contract and client requirements, monitoring and assisting in the execution of project work and integrating organizational elements of EA. The individual will serve in a programmatic or key account role supporting EA resources and managing client relationships.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated client relationships and business development success with state, local, NGO, and private clients preferred; federal desired but not necessary.
  • Exceptional leadership and oral/written communication skills.
  • Desire/ability to service multiple market sectors and technical areas.
  • Ability to collaborate across EA corporate departments, operations, service lines and geographies and direct/collaborate with all levels of staff.
  • Demonstrated technical expertise in natural resource consulting as well as a track record of project management success.
  • Subject matter expert in one technical discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in the areas of proposal development, program/project management, and technical writing.
  • Ability to verbally communicate complex technical issues with non-technical personnel across all levels.
  • Successful track record of working with clients to define issues and develop practical and cost effective solutions.

Position Requirements:

 

  • Master of Science in environmental science with a focus on natural resources, planning or related field.
  • 20+ years of demonstrated success in client development, program and project management.
  • Demonstrated client relationships in the water and natural resources market.
  • Specific experience selling and managing natural resource services.
  • Ability to travel to client and EA operations as required (estimated 40% travel).
