We have an exciting opportunity for a Mid to Senior-Level Solid Waste Engineer in our Hunt Valley, MD office.

Responsibilities

The candidate will consult with EA project managers and clients to determine how to meet project goals; manage and perform engineering design tasks; perform engineering calculations and evaluations; prepare reports; perform feasibility studies; and develop engineering plans and specifications.  This position provides an opportunity to work on projects focused on solid waste management, landfill cell and closure design, landfill expansions, solid waste facility design, and operational support.  There is opportunity to support site/civil design, stormwater management, natural resources restoration, water/wastewater evaluations and design, site remediation, and other environmental and civil subject areas. This position will be tailored to a specific candidate’s experience and personal interest.

Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate will be a Professional Engineer (P.E.), or working towards a P.E.
  • 5 or more years of solid waste/landfill design experience, with a minimum B.S. degree in civil or environmental engineering or a related field.  
  • This position is best suited for an individual that is excited to develop experience across a range of managerial and technical skills.
  • Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoCAD, or MicroStation is required.
