We have an excellent opportunity for a mid-level Engineer in our Hunt Valley, MD office.

Responsibilities

Selected candidate will be responsible, primarily, for supporting two (2) worldwide fuel system programs for a federal client, specifically in the areas of Underground Storage Tank (UST) and Fuel System compliance. Specific duties will include, but are not limited to, task management for compliance projects of varying sizes and complexity; conducting field-based training for UST systems (UST Operator Training), fuel system leak detection testing support; regulatory review and analysis; coordination with various Government stakeholders; development of training materials; permitting; oversight of subcontractors; technical report preparation; and project accounting. Additionally, selected candidate will support a broad range of environmental, health, and safety projects, including regulatory compliance audits and assessments; environmental compliance program development, Environmental Management System development support; development of permit applications and plans (SPCC, SWPPP, air permits, etc.); and regulatory reporting (RCRA biennial reports, EPCRA Tier II and Form R, air quality, and others)..

Qualifications

  • B.S. degree in chemical/environmental/civil/mechanical engineering. EIT/PE and/or M.S. preferred, but not required
  • 2-5 years of environmental compliance, regulatory and/or engineering experience with a working knowledge and understanding of federal/state regulations and environmental compliance
  • Specific knowledge of fueling systems, is preferred
