We are currently seeking a Procurement Specialist for our Hunt Valley, MD office.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the efficient execution of EA’s procurement needs, including identifying appropriate vendors, solicitation of statements of work/bid package, evaluation of proposals/bids, and issuing purchase orders
  • Hands on involvement in large, complex procurements will be necessary
  • Work closely with Project Managers and technical staff to support project needs, while simultaneously ensuring compliance with contract requirements and applicable laws and regulations
  • Oversees a small geographically dispersed department of procurement support staff

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree is required; an advanced degree and/or NCMA certification is desired
  • 3-8 years of experience with progressively increasing responsibility
  • Experience in using and developing various subcontract service order types
  • Experience with all contract types (FFP, T&M, CP, etc.) required
  • Proficiency in purchase and acquisition strategies for private and public sector clients
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the FAR and Federal contracting vehicles with extensive training and coursework
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products especially in Word and Excel
