We have an exciting opportunity for a Scientist II for our Hunt Valley, MD office.

Responsibilities

  • Allocate lab resources to meet client schedule & requirements
  • Supervise technical staff
  • Ensuring sufficient assets, qualified employees are available to perform and supervise the laboratory’s work
  • Assist with and conducting employee performance reviews and audits
  • Assisting with work scheduling and laboratory resource allocation
  • Provide staff training and ensure the lab staff is developing necessary skills
  • Personnel supervision, time management, and operational efficiency
  • Preparation of client reports
  • Troubleshooting and problem solving
  • Other duties as assigned by the Lab Director

Qualifications

  • M.S. degree with 0-2 years or a B.S. degree with 3-5 years of experience in Ecotoxicology, Biology, Environmental Science, Ecology, or related field
  • Detail oriented. Strong organizational, writing, and communication skills
  •  Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  •  Previous experience with testing and evaluation of aquatic toxicity testing data is necessary
