We are currently seeking a self-motivated Junior Geologist for our Abingdon, MD office.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will take ownership in performing drilling oversight, installation of monitoring wells, lithologic logging and plotting, and sampling soil, groundwater and soil vapor in the Mid-Atlantic region. Additional duties will include work plan and report preparation, schedule and cost tracking with additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 0-2 years of geology experience with emphasis on field work
  • Experience with field equipment and health and safety monitoring is desirable
  • Ability to compile, organize, and enter field data for inclusion into reports and other deliverables
